It’s exactly 10 years today since the very first public exhibition of a “Loopwheel”, a shock-absorbing wheel with integral suspension!
That was in Bristol, England on Friday 12 April 2013. It wasn’t a wheelchair wheel – our very first product was a small Loopwheel designed for folding bikes. We made 20 inch bike wheels from 2013 until 2016. By that time the wheelchair wheels we launched in 2015 had taken off and we decided to focus in on Loopwheels for wheelchairs.

We are delighted still to be here, to be selling our Loopwheels for wheelchairs around the world, and to be celebrating our first decade of manufacturing wheels with suspension!
