What is the Loopwheels trial scheme?
Our trial scheme is a simple, hassle-free way to test the proven benefits of Loopwheels. We’ll send a set of demo wheels to your door, matched to your wheelchair and needs, so that you can see and feel the difference that they make.
Whether you’re dealing with rough pavements, cobblestones, or overall want to reduce vibration, fatigue and pain, the trial gives you a chance to experience Loopwheels in your daily life.
Who should do a Loopwheels trial?
We recommend our trials to anyone interested in purchasing Loopwheels. They are a great opportunity for:
- Anyone experiencing back or neck pain in their wheelchair.
- Anyone feeling badly fatigued after a day out using their wheelchair.
- Anyone using a handbike or power add-on with their wheelchair.
- Anyone interested in purchasing off-road wheelchair wheels.
- Wheelchair users who are curious about the in-wheel suspension technology.
- People who are on the fence and would like to test before they invest.
How do I arrange a Loopwheels trial?
Arranging a trial is a simple process, and our knowledgeable and friendly team is available to answer any questions you may have along the way!
Step 1: Choose a model of Loopwheels to trial
You may already know which wheels you want to try, and in that case, you can skip to Step 2!

Step 2: Sign up for a trial!
Once you have selected your wheels, you will need to sign up online. Trials cost £35, which simply covers the cost of postage and packing.
Step 3: Put the wheels to the test!
Once your wheels have arrived, you can put them to the test! You will have 2 weeks with your trial wheels, which we hope is enough time to feel the difference they can make.
Tip: Don’t Forget the Surfaces You Regularly Avoid!
When trialling Loopwheels, take them wherever you normally wouldn’t – cobbles, rough paths, bumpy pavements. This is what most customers tell us helped them notice the big difference Loopwheels can make.
If you use a handbike or power add-on, it is important to know that you can (and should!) use this during your trial. Please note that our wheels are warrantied for use up to 25km/h.
Step 4: Review your trial with an expert
Our expert team will be in touch to arrange a date for UPS to collect the wheels after your trial. We will speak to you about your experience, and answer any questions that you may have. If you do decide to purchase a pair of Loopwheels, the team can also support you with this! This may be supporting you with picking the right push rims, or setting up a payment plan.
Please note that following the trial there is no obligation to purchase a pair of Loopwheels.
