Last month, we shared an exclusive sneak peek into some of the exciting plans we have lined up for 2025, and teased that even bigger surprises were just around the corner. You may have even seen some sneak peaks on our Instagram from Rehacare last year!

The wait is finally over… We are so excited to introduce brand new Lacquered Springs for your Loopwheels!
Whether you’re someone who likes to stand out or someone who prefers classic, understated tones, we’ve expanded our range to offer something for everyone.
What are ‘Lacquered Springs’?
As you may know, Loopwheels are designed with 3 springs which go from hub to rim. It is these springs which create the suspension inside the wheel. Until now, Loopwheels Urban, Extreme and LT have been available in carbon-black, with the option to add colour through anodised metal accents.
The new lacquered springs are the same Loopwheels springs which you know and love, finished with a high-quality gloss. Each spring is hand painted right here in Nottinghamshire, by our partners KG Archery.
KG Archery are one of the few remaining traditional bow makers here in the UK, located right outside of Sherwood Forest, home of the infamous Robin Hood.
What you need to know…
Lacquered springs are available for both Loopwheels Urban and Loopwheels Extreme as a glossy, iridescent alternative to standard black springs.
The springs are finished with the same coating as the carbon black springs, however with a glossy finish instead of matt. The lacquered shine means these wheels stand out when the light hits them, combining a touch of personality with a premium finish.
If you are interested in lacquered springs with anodised, coloured hubs, please get in touch directly with the sales team.
The Lacquered Spring Shade Range:
We have launched our lacquered springs in 3 different shades: Crimson Red, Ocean Blue and Midnight Purple. Each shade is unique, and it is important to note that the colours may appear slightly different in person and under different lighting due to the glossy nature of the lacquer.
Crimson Red Lacquered Springs
Crimson red is a classic, deep red shade with an iridescent sheen which catches in the light.

Ocean Blue Lacquered Springs
Ocean blue is an eye-catching blue shade which is made up of both blue and green tones.

Midnight Purple Lacquered Springs
Midnight purple is a subtle shade which combines deep purple with rich blue hues.

Why have we launched these colours?
For many customers, having the option to customise their wheelchair and add their own personality is really important to them. A pair of Loopwheels will make your ride more comfortable and smooth, but a pair of lacquered springs may help you to feel even more comfortable, because they reflect your personal style as well.
