From March 19th – March 20th, the Loopwheels team were busy at Naidex 2025. The show was a great opportunity to connect with a range of people, learn about new innovations in the market and raise people’s awareness of Loopwheels!

Loopwheels have exhibited at Naidex many times before, and even won the Best in Show award for the UK launch of Loopwheels for wheelchairs 10 years ago in 2015! We continue to enjoy exhibiting at the show each year as it is great to be amongst such innovative brands and organisations within the Accessibility, Inclusion and Disability industry.

If you weren’t able to attend this year or didn’t manage to visit the stand – no problem! We’ve recapped everything from the Loopwheels booth to make sure you’re kept in the loop.

Lacquered Springs at Naidex 2025

Naidex was a great opportunity for people to see our latest launch in person. Loopwheels with Lacquered Springs are the same wheels which you have come to know (Loopwheels Urban and Extreme), coated with a high-quality glossy lacquer for a sleek yet vibrant finish. Combined with the bright colours of Lignorim wooden push rims, the wheels really stood out on the stand, and gained a lot of attention. We are really proud to be able to offer more colour options on our wheels, as we understand the importance of being able to personalise your wheelchair.

If you are interested in Loopwheels with Lacquered Springs, head over to this blog post to learn more about the launch, or, configure your wheels today!

Loopwheels on the Naidex test track

Visitors to the Loopwheels stand had the opportunity to trial a pair of wheels on the Naidex test track this year. The track had a range of raised surfaces and textures to allow people to see the difference of Loopwheels for themselves.

Testing the wheels is the best way to explain the vibration-reduction that they offer! It’s actually the reason that we offer Loopwheels Trials to all of our UK customers…

What is a Loopwheels Trial?

You can arrange to have a pair of Loopwheels shipped to your address, where you can then take them out and about as you would your normal wheels, over 2 weeks! This way you can experience how Loopwheels can make your daily journeys more comfortable. You only have to cover the cost of shipping: there is no commitment to purchase following a trial.

We also talked all things push rims!

Did you know that Loopwheels are also UK distributors of CarboLife and Lignorim hand rims? We understand that every person has different push rim requirements, whether that be profile shape, grip strength or colour. That is why we aim to offer a wide variety of push rims, to meet the needs of each individual.

The most popular push rims from this year’s show were definitely the Lignorim wooden push rims range and the CarboLife Gekko.

The unique thermal properties of the ash wood (never too hot, never too cold) and the many colour options of the Lignorim range drew a lot of attention from visitors!

The CarboLife Gekko is our best-selling ergonomic push rim. People like the replaceable silicone strip which runs along the top of the push rims. (Unlike cheaper copies, this strip does not come loose!!)

An exciting show all round

As well as talking all things Loopwheels, the team had a brilliant time getting to see so many people over the two days of the event. Naidex is always a great opportunity to see people come together to get up to all sorts of fun such as accessible rock climbing, wheelchair rugby and dance sessions. It is also a great platform to learn about the different organisations in the accessibility, inclusion and disability space. I (Ellie) appreciated this in particular, as I am new to this world and Naidex is my first big show. The whole team made sure to spend time learning about different organisations, products and initiatives, and Ian managed to get a photo with a giant polar bear… (head over to our Instagram highlights if you missed it). If that doesn’t show the variety of different things to do at the show, we’re not sure what does!

Thank you to everyone who visited our stand last week – we’re already looking forward to next year’s show.
